Review on Mkono Boho Wood Window Shelf: 2-Tier Rustic Storage Rack for Home Decor, Living Room, Bathroom, Kitchen, & Office by Ruth Coleman

To finish off my room I knew I needed shelves and this was one of the first sets I saw. They arrived at the expected time and installation was decently easy. It was well packaged and came with a small bag of hanging hooks. However, I live in an apartment with two other (rather incompetent women) and while we have a small tool kit, we didn't have the drill needed to put the hooks in my wall, so I bought (what I thought) . would be) a strong and reliable command hook advertised at 5 pounds. Installed, painted and drove home for the weekend. Coming back I was confronted with the fact that my command hook was not reliable and the whole regiment fell. I hung it back thinking it just needed a new strip for the back of the command hook and after a few minutes it fell off and the bottom shelf broke in half. Now I'm giving this product five stars anyway because I can't blame the manufacturer of my own stupidity for hanging it back after the command hook had already proved not strong enough to support the weight of the shelf and everything on it (which , just , must not weigh more than 4 pounds). So, in the short time that this beautiful shelf has been hanging in my room, I have loved it, found everything about it easy and would recommend it. I would only suggest either using the hardware that comes with it or getting a sturdy hook from your local hardware store as I do not recommend using command bars with this shelf.
