When the DJI Osmo Mobile 2 first came out, it was sold out, so I bought a Reitcam mini tripod for it. However, the mini tripod is still bulky and takes time to set up. I also thought the base wouldn't be enough as the gimbal makes jerky movements when calibrating the phone to the gimbal so I figured it would tip over. However, when it became available at Revain, I took a chance and ordered it. The base is very nice and very portable and also very easy to set up. The hanger slides into the base in any direction and the bottom screws easily attach it to the base. It's small enough that you can carry the gimbal while using it, and if you need to put it down for any reason, you can place it on a stable surface. I calibrated the gimbal with the base and it was stable and didn't tip over. This must be the included gimbal accessory, not an optional accessory. Pros: Very portable, more portable than a mini tripod. The DJI Osmo Stabilizer fits in any direction. itself, but it must be included as an accessory.
