Soft fabric. Don't rustle while walking! I'm 5'3" and 180 lbs. Ordered size XL but I think L would fit better. Below the knee they are a bit loose as you would expect. But the fabric is a bit knotted. on the back of the leg and thigh, hence I think a smaller size would fit perfectly. I tug on it a bit to flatten my leg. The fabric has good bounce so the knees don't sag. Hopefully they will shrink a bit with washing. Of course I like pockets, but I wish they were placed further down the leg because it adds volume to my already curvy thighs when I'm carrying keys or a phone.But other than that, it's good value for money.
