This little lamp is perfect to illuminate my sewing projects. I have a light on the side of my car, but I still can't see well enough without additional lighting. This small, lightweight cord fits right under the hood of my car. The cable comes out at the back. I haven't even tried using the tiny dots of glue that attach them to it. I've never had success with those sticky things. I have nano tape that I use for everything! I used that on them. They are there and I don't expect them to come loose! They came with a USB cable and connector. Nobody ever sends a fork! But this one has one. So you are ready to use immediately. I know you can make them shorter but I left mine intact. I need all the light I can get. good lights
