The first night was not very pleasant. It was good. It has a heavy, hard, soft feel. The next night was a little better. I sleep on my side. I try to lie on my back first to relax. Then come to my side for a deep sleep. It didn't hurt my neck. Who has a herniated disc, arthritis and stenosis. The pillow did not have a convex curve that was firm enough to feel stretch or support in the neck area. It was flat like a regular pillow. I often change my pillow several times at night because it's usually too hot. This one got hot too. The pillow was comfortable and didn't hurt. I thought it would be a little tighter in the bolster. So still on the fence, not sure if I can hold my own
