I love these lashes! You can reuse them a few times and they are very easy for someone to master. These are the tips that worked for me.1. Apply a layer of eyeliner before applying eyeshadow and mascara. I know what others say about putting on makeup first, but this has worked best for me. Let it dry for a few minutes. Like doing hair or whatever - 10 or 15 minutes worked fine. 2. THEN apply eyeshadow (if you plan to wear it) and a light coat of mascara. This is important because unless you already have super black lashes, it will look like there is a gap between your lashes and your eyelid.3. Then apply a second coat of liner and wait for it to dry (another 10 minutes if you can).4. Start at the OUTER edge of the eyelid and bring the lashes down. I found it a little tricky putting them on with tweezers - the tweezers are metal so the lash magnets connect to it. I just glued the lashes on with my fingers, but the tweezers are great for removing! Then remove the fluffy end of the Qtip and gently press the end against the lash line. Each lash has 6 magnets (less if you trim them). When trimming your lashes, be careful not to cut the short lashes—they go to the corner of your eye. If your eyes are close together (like mine), you can make your eyes appear wider by not bringing your lashes to the corner of your eye. I myself leave a distance of 5 mm from the corner to the front edge of the eyelash.6. The longer you wait for the liner to dry, the easier it will be to place and move. If the liner is still "tacky" when you place the lashes on it, it will hold the lashes in place, but the liner will stick to the magnets if you need to reposition it. You then need to add another layer of liner and wait for it to dry. So be patient and let the liner dry for some time before applying your lashes.7. After taking off your lashes for the day, take off your eyeliner and clean the magnets with makeup remover. They are surprisingly durable. Hope that helps! TO THE MANUFACTURER: 3mm thin magnetic strips that keep the lashes attached to the plastic mold when not in use, INSPIRED! Just a suggestion, instead of using thicker square magnets on the lashes, it would be even better to add a magnetic strip to hold the lashes in place. Especially if you could reduce the width from 3mm to 1.5mm. Then the whip was attached to the liner along the entire length of the lid. =
