I have never owned Champion gloves but I was pleasantly surprised by them. They are warm and soft on the inside and have a fluffy texture. The outside is flexible and smooth. It drains water well and doesn't pick up leaves and other things like fleece gloves do. They're also windproof, which is another big plus that many fleece gloves don't have. Overall, they have the benefits of fleece without the downsides. The cut is very wide, so I can wear inner gloves underneath if necessary. But that's JustMe.
