Product description is not very suitable for a beginner. I wanted to clarify some information from other comments I see. Most industry standards require a Displayport cable to be no longer than fifteen feet. For example, my Occulus already has a 15 foot cable, so with this 15 foot cable the cable will go up to 30 feet. You must use a repeater to signal the rest of the way.
