Works MUCH better than a cheaper analogue - despite being made in Switzerland. This one has been perfect since the first LP I put on. Crisp than my old one - which has just worn out - it was a certain ivory color that is commonly found in 20 year old white or cream plastic - you sometimes see old computers with it. They don't make plastic of that color! ANYWAY - I tried to buy cheaper, like $20 - no, bad. Then I got a much better one (Swiss) for about the same price, but for some reason it didn't survive, so I put my original back in, with the orthophone and number right on the front. Now, four years later, the old one is really worn out - it jumps, drives sometimes. This time I had the money to buy the real thing and it sounds good. I hear Bill Evans and Tony Bennett crystal clear - no click, no noise, just music. uhh. If you want Ortofon FF 15 XE MKII, take this one. That's money well spent. World.
