4 stars because the care instructions on the packaging are different. the child is put in the mouth. I bought this, was hoping for a lion, but of course I got a monkey because it specifically says machine washable. I was disappointed when I read the actual instructions for easy cleaning and the warning not to submerge in water, which is what the machines do. Anyway, I don't know why anyone warned about sharp edges, this product has nothing to do with the "crispy hot" label. These "edges" are textures that help with discomfort.
