I bought this to learn/practice portioning food. Even after a few uses, I remembered how specific portions looked in my head so if I couldn't use them, I could dose food properly. It's a bit of a hassle to clean because you can't put it in the dishwasher and the food is hard to peel off the walls, but it's a great plate to use when trying to portion food.
