hardware error. You get what you pay for.

Elastic cords are fine, but snap hooks are junk. I used them on dog ties for several weeks. I tie them to the anchor and then tie the rope to the bungee. Therefore, if the dog runs to the end of its leash, it will not be injured. This concept works great. These bungees can NOT be closed because the carabiners no longer close. I will have to buy new equipment. Maybe I should have just bought better bungees?
