A really necessary purchase, Im glad I found this product.

The device deservedly bears the name of "top cropped DSLR". You know, I feel a sense of pride when I see that I shoot not just with a camera, but with an excellent, high-performance machine, in which, if not everything, then almost everything is perfect. In my personal collection there were 3000, 3100, 5000, 5100, 7000, in passing I talked with 600 and 800E. I can confirm that the 7100 - indeed at the moment - is the pinnacle of photographic equipment from Nikon, accessible to many. Pros and cons, in my opinion, I have already considered. To choose a camera for yourself - you need to take and shoot. In no case should you rely only on the reviews of largely incompetent people. I can add that after detailing the 7100, I'm only going to go to the 800E, and only because it's important for me to get maximum detail, not speed and the like.

Pros

Comfortable "grip", as for me. Acceptable weight. Lots of customizable options. The speed of work (NOT CONTINUOUS SHOOTING) - staggering! Basically, I shoot at 50 / 1.8g and the focusing speed is excellent, it cannot be compared with a similar case, for example, at 5100. An excellent, bright screen, even better than 5100, 7000 (and they had it - wow!) . Possibility of precise focusing manually in live with zoom WITHOUT "brakes". Two memory cards, with settings for using each. Lightweight and quiet shutter mechanism (structurally different from its predecessors). Video 60fps Excellent range for processing. 24 MPix - an unplowed field for subsequent cropping of a photo. And, of course, dust and moisture protection (only with appropriate lenses, for example, 18-300 mercilessly pulled dust inside when zooming)

Cons

It can hardly be called a disadvantage with full confidence. Someone has already said that the shutter button is "indistinct". This is true. Especially when you work with gloves. At 3000, 3100, 5000, 5100, 7000 the reaction was quicker. Although, perhaps, just such models came across .
