I thought the most annoying smell mentioned by a previous reviewer or the lack of an instruction manual from another was the worst part but that was probably the fact that I have never found this product before ! Both my 9 lb and 12-13 lb cats love the scratching post and loved exploring and sniffing it once I finished collecting it (you couldn't wait so he just hopped around while I collected it). The smell was minimal and the booklet was included, not sure if they just lost it or maybe I got a good one who knows. it wobbles a bit, also because i didn't attach it to the wall behind it or anything, let's see, but so far so good! It's been about 2 months since I bought it and my two cats still love this tree so much and can't stop eating it. It's a little tight on maneuvering areas, but I prefer it because it moves my cats a little more (they never exercise, so it's good for them haha). Overall this was probably the best scratching post purchase I have ever made (it is still very sturdy and all parts are solid) and I love that my cats have a tall and strong tree to enjoy! 3 years and 3 moves later it still has all the parts and we are still enjoying it! We have added 2 new babies to the family and they love running up and down the tree and playing with each other on their little side wings. Nobody likes hammocks, but that's okay because I use them as little toys when it's time to put things away. The material is still nice and fluffy and we've done a pretty good job picking up stains and getting under the folds of the top two pillows and it's still basically the same wood I got 3 years ago! You really won't regret this tree!
