I have an HP Photosmart C4280, I only use it for black and white printing, and I bought original cartridges for a while, but then I realized that I had to spend more than the price of the printer on ink. These cartridges are a bargain, just do the math: an original cartridge (HP 74 Black Original Cartridge (CB335WN)) costs around $15 and can print 200 pages, which means you're paying 7.5 cents per page. These cartridges cost around $9 and can print 1,500 pages (750 each), which is 0.6 cents per page, meaning you're paying 12 times less per page. I've already printed hundreds of pages with no problems. The only thing is that when you install the cartridge you might get a warning that the cartridge is being refilled, but it can easily be ignored.
