With over 100 skeins of embroidery thread to sort through, I was happy to think that this winding machine would help me get going faster than manual winding. Now over 100 and still in use, I still hand wind. I couldn't get the curler to stay on anything I was trying to attach it to using it. I then found it very difficult to wind it up when I found something to attach the winder to. So I gave up and still draw by hand. I'm almost done but wish I could use a curler better. Well, maybe next time.
