Impression: This is the first cat tower we have bought for our 7 month old cat. She liked it straight away. She climbs it and likes to play with the mouse on the top platform. The faux fur upholstery is very soft and she likes to relax in a small house. Construction: The tower is very well constructed. The pillars are thick and strong, and the tower itself is very stable despite its height. We keep it in the living room on a deep pile rug and it stays strong; doesn't swing at all. Construction: The tower is delivered completely disassembled with 12 posts, several platforms and other parts. The only tool you will need is the hex wrench that comes with the kit. Assembly was generally a very simple process. The only thing I should note is that it might be difficult for a weak person to assemble this tower. The more layers you build, the heavier and more unwieldy it gets, not to mention the fatigue of screwing in all the posts (but that's to be expected with any 6-foot tower).
