This stand folds very well. I was able to hang a sandbag on the bottom to give the stand a more stable feel on windier days. On a windless day it seems solid enough not to bother at all. I just always prefer a sandbag because it usually has an expensive camera on it. Other coasters I sent have extendable legs making them a little bulkier, while this one folds up really well. It has an app for your phone or DSLR camera. It's the perfect little stand for when you're taking selfies at home or need it for studio shots. It's super light and would be great to put in your camera bag, in case you need it on a photo walk or whatever. Given its light weight, I'll probably keep it attached to my camera bag and the heavier stand in my shopping cart. I think this will see a lot more use for its flexibility alone, and there's no reason not to use it outdoors without worrying about adding a little weight (like a hanging photo bag).
