This is such a cute tent my 3 year old loves it but it's a little bigger than expected. My husband and daughter both fit in the tent, which was also full of toys. The best advice I can give is to go through the full instructions on the bag and the vague instruction sheet, and then assemble and become familiar with the sticks. yourself with the poles before attempting to pitch the tent. Assembly took about 30 minutes. You need 3 AA batteries for the lights but it also has a USB adapter and you need to assemble the banner which was easy. It also comes with parts, which was great. Haven't taken it outside yet, so I don't know how easy it will be to take it apart. Overall I would recommend this to a friend.
