Poor cold drink bottles

I had two lids, the straw lid leaked. I had a bottle in my bed and woke up to a wet place. Also difficult to clean. I thought I had cleaned my bottle well but there was still a strange smell in the bottle and cap. I had to soak them both in bleach. The main problem with this bottle is that things don't stay cold. I haven't used it for warm liquids, but it might work better for that. When I put ice in a bottle it melts within a few hours, like 3-6. It seems to me that the temperature should not change so quickly. I had other stainless steel bottles that still contained ice the next day. I wanted to like it but I don't like it.
