This is a great and easy way to take your temperature. He does what he says and quickly. Just aim and shoot. I destroyed my mom's old mercury thermometer trying to get a day off from school when I was a kid. When I put it under hot water it crashed. Not only was it an ugly mess of mercury and broken glass, I didn't skip a day of school either! The thing shouldn't have this problem. I think this one will last a lot longer than the old type. So far that seems to be true. Repeated measurements give the same result. The display is bright, sharp and easy to read. I really like the battery compartment. You just click where the indent is and it will appear. Of course, better than those that require you to press hard and slide to open. I see no reason not to buy this device.
