NOT GE Electronics - Power Strips and Surge Protectors

I ordered a long cord that is listed as "GE Surge Protector 6 Outlet". What I got was the "Jasco" trademark and "Use of GE name under license". This is NOT a GE product; this is false advertising. "The trusted GE brand is the #1 brand for surge protectors and power strips." Yes it is possible, but since I have a JASCO surge protector I don't see how that would help. And yes, I know companies sometimes make products for themselves, but I expect GE to be the people who guarantee things I buy from GE, and not some third-party company I've never heard of. ESPECIALLY when you look at all the reviews from people who have had overheating/home issues. Don't sell it as GE if it's JASCO! Edit: I googled (a bit annoyed that I had to spend ten minutes trying not to send the $20 thing back) and the Jasco website says they do a lot of "GE". Products. It's still pretty sketchy to market it as "GE," but it hasn't burned down a house with a printer plugged in overnight, so cheers, let the stars rise. Still pretty annoyed. It's not like buying a brand name in a store and knowing you're likely to get something from Nabisco, it's like buying a Nabisco and getting a brand name in a store - maybe the same thing, but there is one Reason why it is not sold under the brand name.
