WHEN I KNOW THAT THE PUMPERS ARE NOT WORKING!

Why do I keep doing this to myself, I ask myself. Oh, because I keep hoping that at least one lip augmentation product actually works. The concept of plumper lips is to use ingredients that irritate the lips enough to make them look plumper. Often this is done by a known irritant like peppermint or cinnamon in most plump lips. If this product is making your lips plump, then they are already plump and not necessary. I look good in lipstick, but my natural lips aren't plump and I wish they were. So I keep thinking that one of these plumpers will give me a natural boost and my lips will look and feel normal. My experience: It burns like crazy. How REALLY COMMON. MY LIPS COLORED THIS AND APPEARED IN A RING AROUND THE MOUTH. The transparent gloss is easy to apply, is thinner, not thick and slightly sticky. This part is ok, but the longer the product was on my lips the more it burned/stung. I couldn't take it anymore and my lips curled up like I was sucking on a lemon. I finally washed it off and after an hour my lips were dry and still red! There was maybe a maximum increase of 5-10%. Nothing flashy to make up for the discomfort. There was no way I could keep this product on my lips, which can be worn alone or over lipstick. I've tried many of these plumpers with no success, but none of them were as hard and annoying as this one. The ingredient list includes grapefruit seed oil β€” citrus fruits irritate the lips β€” but I'm concerned about Benzyl Nicotinate, a vasodilator that dilates blood vessels. Take it? It's said to increase blood flow to the lips as a volumizing mechanism (similar to lip cupping) rather than peppermint or cinnamon, but it's more irritating, no less. To be honest it doesn't work. I'm not a fan at all and this result is quite disappointing as I was hoping this product would be a real deal. Nothing against the firm and cheers if this product somehow works for you but now I need to treat my wrinkled irritated lips. I do not recommend.
