more than just a pair of sticks with frayed ends that cannot be sanded properly. I only found one that was a real shard hazard. The rest was well sanded, smooth and fairly strong. Although due to their size you can break them if you make an effort. At 6 cents each, it's a decent price for a good tongue twister. We've used them for mixing paint, bridge building competitions, arts and crafts, although I'm sure there are many other uses. As we had an issue with more than one of the sticks I am only giving 4 stars because I have paid that price for other sticks that have not had quality issues. However if you can't find the best clubs for a cheap price these are good clubs and I would recommend them.
