Well I've been using it every day for 5 weeks and today it shorted out and my laptop was smoking (literally like smoke because something was fried in it) I thought maybe , it is just something in the computer, not because of the charger. Well that was a mistake because I then plugged in my phone (which I've done countless times before) and it's not fried either. so 2 devices that now won't turn on at all because of this charger. Caution, when using this device, the USB connector to the cable may not be properly connected and something in the USB-C portion of the charger may cause a short circuit, causing your device to fail.
