They fit well and provide a solid tread - heels show no noticeable wear (after about 100 miles of flat surface/highway/sidewalk walking etc.) I am me not sure if the comfort is "much" better than the top brands but still a good shoe (so far). Additional "enclosures" are a good addition to the product. The top is small (less than 1 inch). The laces do not slide well in eyelets that are not made of "metal or plastic" but are made of the same fabric as the laces, so friction is high. The laces are the same color as the shoes, so it's also hard to tell when they're laced - tightening a shoelace is a chore. The laces don't come loose easily either. Getting your fingers under the laces to stretch them is difficult. Therefore, putting on and taking off the shoes takes a little longer. 07/26/21 After about 8 weeks of use (about 500 miles on foot) I really noticed the wear on the heel. Blue Crescent heel counter wears well [see photos]. photo], BUT the outsole next to the crescent doesn't wear at all. The product could be improved if the blue crescent is slightly lengthened at the outer edge. I probably won't repurchase them - while these shoes fit well, are comfortable etc, they don't wear any better than cheaper products from other big brands. Otherwise good shoes.
