The packaging says no lifting. I have a foam mattress. I had to lift myself to get the clips on the corners of my mattress topper. My mattress is heavy. It was very difficult for me alone to lift the corner and cut two corners. It would have been a lot easier to do this with a very strong friend to lift me up and anchor me. I would never use them with a folded sheet either. The mattress protector is ok. It doesn't take long to remove the clips. But putting the braces on and taking them off every week to wash would be a nightmare. However, these clips would be fantastic for a crib, crib or sofa bed with a very thin mattress. These leaves need something to hold them in place. And the mattresses are very easy to lift. The brackets are pretty strong. I don't think the fabric will pull out of the clamps. And they have plastic loops to adjust the length of the clip as well as the length of the long elastic. There are two rubber bands in the package. This means you can attach the fabric diagonally and stretch it at all four corners of the bed. The other box contains two more tapes. This would be fine for a twin room. But I had a few creases in the comforter when I was only using two ribbons. So I used a third piece of tape from another box to tie it horizontally across the mattress. I don't know what to do with the fourth strip. I recommend this product. He does what he says he must do. And the right case is perfect. But I needed someone to help me. And I couldn't do it every week.
