For weeks I searched online for possible beach bags. Compare properties and ratings, criticize style and quality. I've found many bags that were more stylish or trendier than these but didn't have the features I needed. The adorable straw mattresses I was longing for would most likely fall apart if they got wet. Finally, I wanted something colorfast that wouldn't bleed through my clothes. I've had several bags in the past, both cheap and expensive, that have made it! While I haven't really tested that aspect yet, it's hard to imagine how this plastic-coated cloth could bleed. I bought the black and white striped version for a classic look that works in both the Caribbean and Europe. The stripes don't line up on one side, which is the only flaw I've been able to find so far. I'm going to make some colorful pom poms and tassels to hang from the handles to give it a little lift. All in all I can't wait to travel to the Bahamas next month.
