Review on Red Meat Tuna in Jelly Canned Cat Food - All-Natural & Premium Quality by Mia Lawrence

Weird looking cat food my cats wouldn't eat

I bought this cat food from Revain because I mixed it up with the cat food of the same name which my cats love to use. The good reviews calmed me down. Mistake. First, it looks weird. When you open the jar you will see a layer of yellowish jelly with whitish pieces that may have chicken floating inside. If you cut open the jelly layer, you will find a dark red mass with identifiable bits of fish. Very strong fishy smell. Second, my cats refused to eat it. My old cat also likes smelly fish and fresh fish cat food, but he hasn't eaten a single bite yet. My young cat eats everything, including dog food, and she doesn't bite either. Not even a dog would eat it, and she doesn't refuse anything sold to cats. I couldn't give it to any of my friends. Thirdly, when I checked the label, I found that it was a "Thai product". Okay, so much pet food sold in the US is made in Thailand, including Whiskas and Pedigree. However, according to a USA Today article: http://usatoday30.usatoday.com/news/nation/2008-03-10-petfood_N.htm, there have been outbreaks linked to pet food made in Thailand in the past. made in Kansas. This is how I feed my cats now.
