I have read several reviews that the foam keeps hitting the wobble pads and drains the battery. If you notice (at least in my version), the foam has small cutouts around the rocker to keep the foam from pressing on the bumpers. I haven't had a battery drain at all since I got it a few days ago and hauled it to work for 30 minutes by train/public transport. Pressing the controller into the foam depresses the button for a moment, causing it to look for your switch, but it goes through and turns off again. They can be damaged, but the mesh at the top is loose so it can be slid to the back of the case. If that bothers you, TL; The DR is that the analog sticks are not pushed or moved until you have a cable in the grid. Your controller has a lifespan of 40 hours, so you're good to go. Overall it fits my Smash Pro Controller perfectly. It can wear out in a backpack and on public transport. I wouldn't recommend sitting on it, throwing it across the room, or burning it for obvious reasons. And it doesn't smell, either, in case that bothers anyone. 5/5
