Review on ๐Ÿ”ฅ Advanced BLACK+DECKER D3030 Allure Professional Steam Iron: Unmatched Efficiency in Gray/Blue Design by Brandon Pratt

Revainrating 5 out of 5

High performance and ironing performance. Really disappointing management.

The performance of this iron is rated 6 out of 5. Heats up, stays hot, moves through fabric very easily. Steam works really well and the steam boost feature does just that. I didn't experience the spitting that other reviewers comment. The cord is usually left out. Where it falls off seems insignificant but constantly frustrating. The markings on the heating scale are barely perceptible. For the numerals, the designers chose a color so close to the color of the dial that they are unreadable. Even in the light, the settings are difficult to make out. And you can't just wave it around, as the temperature settings aren't linear across the dial. You have to turn the dial halfway to get to the #1 setting, but then #2 is next to #1. #3 is about an eighth further, but #4 is a quarter turn larger. It takes about the same distance from there to #5 as from #2 to #3. Why on earth was it designed that way, and besides, why are the controls VERY UNREADABLE?!? After all, measuring the amount of water in the tank is a waste of time. The tank is painted so you can barely see the water level without pushing the water around (close to the light) to vaguely see where it is, and filling the water up to the fill line is a wild guess as well. Ironing performance is only compromised by frustrating controls and difficulty seeing the water level.
