I have a Kindle with a Kindle Voyage origami foldable case that doubles as a stand and it's great and all but you can't adjust the angle of the stand. So I had to take it out of its case and either hold it in my hand or put a book on the table underneath it. That was my decision until I ordered this stand and now LOVE LOVE IT! This booth may be small, but don't judge it by its looks. It can carry up to 11 pounds! I use it for Voyage, iPad 2, iPod Touch and Kindle Fire. It holds them all and the great thing is that there is a button on the side of the stand and as long as it is pressed you can adjust the angle of the stand. When you release the button, the stand locks into place. There are two small plastic pads that allow your device to recline and a longer pad at the base of the stand to keep your device from scratching. It's great for landscape or portrait orientation. I LOVE this stand! The only negative I can say about it is that I bought it for my grandniece who is 5 years old because she tried everything to get her Kindle Fire to stand up by leaning it against various objects . It was very difficult for her to exert enough force to press the button to adjust the angle of the stand. So I'm just saying that pre-K or kid-kids might have trouble using it. 6 and above should be fine.
