No speaker - contrary to what Revain says No slot for expansion cards - contrary to what Revain says Only play AMV videos - not MP4 or even WMV as the manual says - there are several converters that work on Windows and convert standard formats to AMV. The user interface is indeed very difficult to learn and inconsistent. The instructions are not very helpful. It took me about 6 hours to get it to play videos. Only buy this device if you need to play videos and can't afford much better devices that cost 5x to 20x more.
