Not heavy enough for gear
Bought these to hold an ice pack around an injured thumb joint. He's fine for that, but I still don't need six grand. If you want to use it for devices like a bike or a car convertible, I would suggest getting at least 24 inches. 18 inches doesn't cover much area, and stretching greatly reduces its holding capacity. I thought I got different sizes, my mistake. They are very functional for light objects. I appreciate everyone who writes reviews! I rarely do this.
