I have used these headphones, one pair, for ten years, during which time all of the foam elements have been entirely erased, several times I have torn the wires out of my ears, I have bought a new foam, soldered the wires, and now the plug has gone apart:) I have used these headphones for ten years. If I didn't have new ones, one of my ears would have started wheezing by now, and it doesn't look like the old ones were doing their job properly. I'm not going to claim that I'm a sound expert, but I do appreciate a deep bass, and the high frequencies are also normal. I can't listen to music with any other pair of headphones when I'm outside.
