Made of high quality leather. Everything but the strap is genuine leather. Although the strap itself isn't leather, it appears to be of good quality; It's long enough and easily adjustable to convert from a shoulder bag to a shoulder bag. It holds a lot of things - I keep my wallet, phone and purse in the main pocket; a tube of hand lotion, a pocket pack of tissues and pens in another pocket; Lipstick, eye drops and headphones in another, and there's still plenty of room. I like the rings on the strap because I can attach my keys to them with a small carabiner so they don't get lost. This is a great little carry-on bag.
