If you have an outdoor kitten who prefers to be outside, this heated cat house is perfect for keeping them warm and dry! I was hesitant to spend the money but I'm so glad I did. Luckily our stray kitten who refuses to go inside no matter what the temperature LOVES HIS HOUSE. She uses it day and night. We got it high off the ground and nailed down. We were vacationing for a week in the winter and I wanted to know if she was warm. I used to use an electric blanket on them but the timer didn't work long enough and I wouldn't be here every day to turn it on. What I LOVE most about this house is that it stays. Where I'm concerned about fire isn't hot, it's warm. You can definitely add one of these timers if you want, for a small fee. Absolutely so happy with the purchase and your kitty will be so happy too! If you're thinking about making a purchase, just do it!
