We are building a house in the countryside an hour's drive from our home. We wanted to be able to track the construction process so we know when to go to and from the site. From my research, I've found that the best type of camera is one that has solar charging capability, as well as built-in cellular connectivity to send me photos when activity occurs. So I bought this camera. I played with it at home for more than a month to understand how the camera works and what settings work for me. The camera is very easy to activate and you get an elite plan with unlimited photos for one month for free. In the end, I decided to continue with this plan after the 1-month free trial period. For $20 a month I get as many photos as I want and 40 photos upgraded to High DEF when needed. After getting a good understanding of how the camera and its associated application worked, we drove to the site and found a tree pointing to a spot we thought we had a good view of. I'm glad I fiddled with it at home first so I didn't have to fiddle with it when we set it up. I love the VOSKER app and have my camera set to send photos every two hours. This camera works great and has maintained 100% battery power from the solar panel since it was installed. It helps that we have a cell tower on the mountain above our side of the building that gives a 5 x 5 signal. Night vision photographed a few deer walking around the site at 1am from 50 feet away in total darkness . We had a guy who came to the site and I thought he was going to work for our contractor but wasn't sure because of the standard resolution photos they sent me so I requested a high resolution photo and found that this is the guy i'm talking about. thought. The camera does everything we hoped it would and I am very happy with my purchase. I think maybe some of the one star reviews came at a time when VOSKER was doing a software update that was causing problems for people. That's partly why I wanted to do a review. I couldn't be more excited with my purchase.
