This would be a very good product if the materials and quality were better. It mounts very flat to the ceiling, giving you plenty of headroom even with an 8ft ceiling. The blades are also protected so kids can't throw anything on the blades or bang their heads on the blades if they decide to do something silly lol. But this is all just plastic and looks very cheap. The fan blade design is inherently quiet, but the motor hums louder than most commercial ceiling fans. Installation was also a bit more difficult than our Honeywell fans and our cousin had to buy additional hardware to complete the installation because something didn't fit.
