For small to medium sized consoles ok if you like the look of black plastic. I was expecting faux leather on the outside (and hoping for plastic/easy-to-clean on the inside) so I went back. Big remotes would make it heavy, so it would be better if it was a bit taller (but not too much lest small remotes like the Roku get lost). If the slots were a bit thicker that would help too, especially the middle one in width. My Kindle barely fits in, but there's no room for anything else.
