Review on Breathable Replacement Watchband by Canvas Release by Mark Williams

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Comfortable, #: Women's

I really liked this strap at first, but it wicks and retains moisture too easily and there's no real way to clean the strap so it becomes uncomfortable after a while . I began to worry that this group would get wet because it would reignite the stinky smells of the past. I've had linen bandages before and that's kind of a compromise, but this one is for some reason the most absorbent and odor prone I've had, it's like a sponge. I've tried scrubbing it with my hands and a brush, tossing it in the wash and soaking it in some Oxyclean but to no avail. As soon as I started sweating at work, that's when the funk woke up again. At some point you have to let go of the bracelet or accept that your wrist smells so strongly of wet dog that you just have to raise your hand above your navel to smell it, and that time is like nothing, maybe a month. I ground that bad boy down with a scraper and couldn't even make it bearable. So if you can find a better way to clean it than I can, or don't do anything active or wet with it, it might work for you, but unfortunately I'm not. I've had other canvas tapes that I've washed many times successfully. many times, but this time it was so painful to clean up even a little bit that I just switched to silicone straps. If they find a way to make this thing hydrophobic or less absorbent I'll think about it, but for now I'm figuring it out.
