My vet recommended the more expensive Purina brand - she feeds her dogs Purina Pro. something is missing that could help my dog who is +/- 3 and healthy. She said "grain-free" was marketing to owners and that whole grains were required to feed dogs. Since my dog has no special needs, grains should be included in his diet.
