My daughter has a turquoise glow-in-the-dark blanket and my son is a bit jealous of how it can glow-in-the-dark, but he has none. So I was very happy to find this cool space blanket for him. If you haven't seen these glow in the dark blankets, it's basically a very soft microfiber blanket and the patterns are created by a coarser texture. The bottom part should be made of a glow-in-the-dark fabric that really shines in the light. So the blanket itself is very soft, and the limited parts that are not covered with soft microfiber non-woven fabric have a little rougher texture. This makes small line art very successful with this style of quilting as you don't really get the feel of a rougher texture whereas the large design costs actually feel rough and not that perfect. I think the maker of this particular blanket did a great job. Space theme because I don't really feel the rough texture of the glow in the dark parts. It's soft, beautiful, exciting and makes a great gift for anyone who loves space. My son loved it and we all love it.
