I order them because (at the time) the description said they were 7500 lumens each which is about the lumens of your standard xenon bulbs these days. Their installation was quite simple, but it was necessary to stretch the cable a little into the room. As soon as I turned them on I noticed that they seemed a lot brighter than I was expecting, but I figured that was just because I had switched from a standard xenon to a cool white LED. So I went with them. I love how well they light up the road. Even with no reflective material on the lines, they seem to slip out of the way. In most cases other drivers do not react to it. From time to time I have someone shine their flashlights on me. In fact, it wasn't until I was following a friend and he commented on getting tanned while I was behind him that I really started to worry about their brightness. But it wasn't until I started the car in front of a solid pane of glass and the reflection hit my eyes and nearly threw me out of the car that I realized it definitely wasn't 7500 lumens. When I first started the car I could hear the fans running throughout the cabin as some of the other reviews say. It's the middle of winter now, so it's going by pretty quickly. Not sure if this will be a problem in the summer. if i still have them In the end I like them a lot. I have to give them four stars because (like many other LED headlights) they are MUCH brighter than they should be. I'll probably put the xenon silver back in my headlights if I can't find a set of LEDs that is close to the lumens of the stock headlight set.
