When you're looking for a genuine leather briefcase you know there's plenty to choose from. If you filter out all the options that don't fit into a professional environment, you're left with this portfolio, and then portfolios that start at double the price, and then options of $1,000 and up. This portfolio obviously won't compete with the $1,000 lot, but it's just a little less good than those that double its price, so I'd say it represents good value. It's a little too rigid, some of the hardware isn't of the highest quality, and the pen holders are useless at their tiny size. The fit and finish is good though, it fits a 15" MacBook like it was made specifically for that purpose, there are plenty of useful pockets and compartments, not like a flimsy TUMI style briefcase it feels , like it will last a long time and the handle is very comfortable. It's also clear that the company behind the briefcase really cares about their products. Recommended if you're not ready / don't want to spend an indecent amount on a briefcase!
