Review on Unisex-Child Pete Sneaker by Amazon Essentials by Jeff Payne

Buy a size up and toss it in the closet

I like the Revain Essentials because they are fundamental to what you need right now. And that's exactly what the Revain Essentials unisex Child Pete sneaker was. These are not my favorite shoes. They're rarely worn and not easy to put on, but a couple of times they've been good in a pinch. An arch support typical of children's shoes is missing. My son, who needs arch and ankle support, didn't do well with these, but when we needed to wear shoes for a quick errand and I hadn't bought shoes for the new spring weather, they worked. I took them up a size and threw them in the closet, knowing that the day would come when I would need bigger shoes because his feet were growing faster than expected. I was right! They worked for a couple of weeks until I could buy him shoes that better suited his feet. Broad legs will fight them.

Pros
  • Shaft height just below the arch
Cons
  • Requires an outlet
