These Hnewroot styluses cost about $1 each and are a real value. I found the pen end easy to use, satisfied my needs for various sketching and photography, and worked on touchscreens as promised. I have used the stylus on my iPhone, iPad and Windows Surface 7. Everything worked fine. The end of the ballpoint pen has a very smooth handwriting, black ink ballpoint pen. This is a swing opener that I could easily operate with one hand. Handy writing instrument. I can now sign when paying with a credit card in stores instead of drawing on touchpads. Excellent product at a very attractive price. I didn't find any indication that the ink cartridge is replaceable - I accept at this price if you run out of ink just grab a new stylus.
