After my grandson fell in love with a fox puppet at the local library I started looking for it. This little guy is perfect. Stuffed animal sizes tend to be a bit confusing. This fox is approximately 17 inches long from nose to hindquarters and 26 inches long from nose to tip of bushy tail. There is a lot of attention to detail here. The eyes have extra small bits of brown material behind them to help shape them properly, the white fur is shorter under the chin and there are small tufts of white fur just in front of his ears. All of this makes him a more realistic fox. The fur is very soft, not stiff. And in case it's not entirely clear, your hand goes into his chest (between his front legs) to use him as a puppet. But the opening isn't that obvious, and he can be a cute stuffed animal when he's not following his doll duties. He comes with information about the fox and a folk tale. My grandson is about 20 months old and thinks he's pretty cute.
