I have owned my 1994 Pontiac Formula since it was new. In the last few years my 4L60E has shifted. very slow and sluggish. Additives and fluid/filter changes helped a little, but the problem remained. After some research on the internet I decided to try replacing the shift solenoids as it turned out to be easy and relatively inexpensive - worth a try. So I changed the fluid/filter again and replaced the magnets when the sump was down - a very simple process. WOW! Doesn't matter! The car shifts BETTER than when it was new! Clear, solid, fast switching!
