When I received my A7 tablet I chose the official Samsung case. After about a week I hated it, it was horrible to hold due to the sharp plastic corners and felt cheap. Plastic cap for $50? I knew I could do better. So I did a little research and found this. I went ahead and got it and used it for a week before returning my Samsung case. I'm new to the tablet world so I can't tell you which is the best out there, but I can't tell you which is better than the Samsung case. The strap makes it easy to hold, the corners aren't sharp, the magnet that holds the tablet It works, the grooves (although not magnetic like Samsung's) are deep enough and hold the tablet perfectly in landscape mode, even on mine Kneeling when lying on the couch. People seem to shoot stars because they don't. "Plush", yes it's not plush, it's faux leather and denim material, but it's not what they advertise, it's something plush. But it's comfortable to hold, which I think is important, and if you like its professional look (or what my daughter calls "daddy look"), you can't go wrong with a product for less than $20 do wrong.
